hdr bulletShoogarband PlumFees Circus

The Shoogarband Plumbfreez are a nomadic band of miscreant freaks that travel from village to village in the guise of a circus with several attractions including caged "beasts" from the wilds and several freakish performers including a strong man, exotic dancer, and fortune teller. The band is lead by the ringmaster Snorzladar, a veritable giant of a man dressed in garish attire that almost appears clownish. However, once the band is done entertaining, member sneak into the village after their last performance at night and kidnap children and any nearby fields are set ablaze as the group hi-tails it out of town on their functional road riggers.

This strange gang of traveling circus folk are in actuality an offshoot of the Death's Head cult. They use the pretense of the circus to gain access to villages and small towns in order to steal children and burn crops and kill livestock before they travel onward to the next town. The leader of the Shoogarband PlumbFees is SnorzLardar, the ring leader of the circus who actually came up with the idea while reading ancient texts on childrens fairy tales and a picture book of the Barnam-Bailey Circus. SnorzLardar spent most of his younger adult days traveling the lands looking for other outcasts to indoctrinate into his "circus". Focusing on the freakiest mutants that even post-apocalyptic societies wouldn't accept, SnorzLarder began building his power base for his gang as well as recruiting pig-men to act as stage-hands and general circus help.

The cicus generally rolls into town in two large tandem wheeled truck-like vehicles painted up with garish circus images portraying many of the acts the circus features. SnorzLarder typically seeks out the town leader(s) and asks for permission to set up camp and the circus tent and offers to put on shows for free or for any donations the town or individual spectators wish to provide. The circus puts on several shows over a two to three day span, all the while scoping out the town or village to determine where the children sleep at night and the most susceptible fields or livestock are located. After their last performance, the circus folk will wait until everyone from the town has left and returned to their homes and then pack up everything while a few members with abilities to move quickly and quietly go and snatch children between three and five years old. Once the children are taken, the caravan moves on while lighting up fields and farms.

Appearance: Snorzladar is a giant of a man--literally--dressed up as a clownish buffoon. He has no body hair but wears a large multi-colored top hat and wears white skin makeup on his face with penciled in eye brows and curvy "dastardly" moustache. He is somewhat plump in appearance though his clothes are very baggy and make him appear much girthier. He has big toothy maw that he typically wears with a grin. Although narsacistic in his actual views, he knows how to put on the penultimate act of showmanship while out in public.

Character Notes: Abandoned as a child by his father (his mother actually burst before actually giving birth to him), Snorzladar was found and raised by members of the Death's Head cult. He found no love there but they did teach him that life is cruel and the only real spiritual truth is that death eventually claims everyone and he took their mantra as his own. Once he grew into adulthood Snorzladar began collecting other freakish members of the cult and those he found in his travels and learned of circuses from some restorationists he had tortured before he killed them. Since then he founded the Shoogarband Plumbfreez Circus as a cover to actually steal children and raise chaos and anarchy in the hame of the Death's Head Cult.

It did not take SnorzLarder long to begin collecting his new "family" and soon he was able to begin his career as the circus ringmaster. Of course, he did not forget his roots or allegience to the Death's Head Cult. SnorzLarder does still have connections to other Cult tribes and will typically pass off most abducted children to other Death's Head tribes in exchange for limited acceptance as one of their own.

Appearance: Brukin's body is completely twisted so that his chest faces his right size while his back faces his left side. His hips break out into two sets of legs which help his stability but do not add much to his speed due to his size and deformities. Brukin dresses as a jester as part of his charade and character of the circus, but when on actual Death's Head business wears black leather armor and a black hood.

Character Notes: Brukin was another child abducted and raised by the Death's Head Cult. He grew up with SnorzLarder and spent most of his time enslaved by other members with menial chores and cheap bullying entertainment. Brukin was one of SnorzLarder's first recruits and Brukin is completely loyal to the big man.

Appearance: Torgor is lithe with no body hair but still very beautiful in a physical sense. She typically wears silk robes and veils, though she will wear armor when expecting combat. She has light blue skin with violet irises.

Character Notes: Torgor was raised in a remote village composed mainly of humanoids. Although she was a productive member, she had always desired to travel and see the world and when the Circus came to town jumped at the chance to join. Character Notes: Gundil fills the job of mentalist, relying on his Sixth Sense ability to make accurate guesses when performing. In reality he is a member of the Death's Head and assigned to the circus as a watch dog over SnorzLarder. He reports intermittently to other Death's Head tribes as to the success or failures of the circus. SnorzLarder is actually aware of Gundil's real purpose within the group but accepts it as a current necessity in order to keep his "family" together.

Appearance: Biggs looks passably human while wearing a hat (he typically wears a cowboy hat), but as soon as he takes it off his narrow head is painfully obvious. He rarely removes his hat and wears outfits that he believes are authentic western gun slinger apparel, preferring dark browns and black materials.

Character Notes: Biggs has taken on the role of trick shot performer with his ancient revolver and epitomizes the lone gunman. Growing up alone, he stole his revolver off the corpse of a man shot down in a duel and practiced as much as possible with the weapon ever since. His singular physical defect and sickliness kept Biggs from making friends which only enforced his morality of the gun being the only thing that gave him real authority over others. Since meeting SnorzLarder and joining the circus, Biggs is just know beginning to feel like he belongs within a social group and hoping to find real kinship. As a result, anyone that threatens the circus or SnorzLarder will quickly become a target for him.

Armor: Studded Leather AC 4 (-2 Dex, -3 armor)

Weapons: Revolver with a bandolier with 18 bullets (24 counting the bullets found in the revolver which is always loaded).
